Cannot connect to internet after updating to internet explorer 7
The memory could not be read I am also using ESET Smart Security 8, following your guide, but in my case, need to un-install the ethernet driver too and restart before able to get back internet connection. I had the problem of loosing Ethernet internet connection with the previous build.
There isn't even an option to connect to a wifi network.I was not told that my network adapter wouldn't be compatible. The only available options are for a wired connection but the Surface Pro 3 doesn't have an Ethernet connection and therefore no option for a wired connection.I changed these to Automatic and rebooted, but still no joy.The network adapter is an Intel 82652V-2 10/100 and Device Manager says it's working normally and the driver is up to date. The PC is connected to the router via ethernet cable.
All seems fine in terms of the OS, but I have no internet access.
I thought that is what I did, but it still didn't work. Should I just go to the driver and update driver instead of picking one myself and downloading it?
I don't have any "exclamation points" in device manager. If I do end up installing a new Ethernet card will it work?
I have a Marvell yukon 88E8056 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller.
I've tried updating the driver, but that still didn't solve the problem. I saw that someone else had this problem with a M3100 and the solved the problem by replacing the Ethernet card.
There are no adapters listed under the network connections.
